Description

Appointment Setter / Client Growth Coordinator

Online New Zealand – Remote (Work From Home)

Online New Zealand is a fast-growing digital marketing company helping local businesses get found online through Google, social media, and directory visibility. We work with trades, hospitality, professional services and local business owners across New Zealand and Australia.

We’re looking for a confident, friendly communicator to join our team in a fully remote role — perfect for someone who wants meaningful work during school hours.

The Role

Your main job is to start conversations with local business owners and book face-to-face meetings for our sales team.

This is not a hard-sell role. You are introducing our service, building interest, and securing a time for a specialist to visit them in person.

You’ll be working with warm and cold business leads, following a clear process, and using simple scripts and systems we provide.

Hours

Monday – Friday

9:30am – 2:30pm (with breaks)

Perfect for parents or anyone wanting structured part-time hours from home.

Pay & Benefits

  • $24 per hour (base rate)
  • Performance bonuses for meetings that attend and convert to clients
  • Work from home — no commute
  • Flexible, supportive small team
  • Ongoing training and clear systems
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company

Key Responsibilities

  • Calling local businesses to introduce Online New Zealand
  • Explaining our service at a high level (no technical knowledge needed)
  • Booking in-person appointments for our sales team
  • Recording call notes in our system
  • Following up leads via phone and email
  • Maintaining a friendly, professional approach at all times

KPIs (What Success Looks Like)

We believe in realistic, achievable targets:

  • 8-10 qualified meetings booked per week
  • Consistent daily call activity
  • Accurate note-taking and follow-ups
  • Positive, professional communication with prospects

You are not responsible for closing sales — just setting up quality meetings.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident speaking on the phone
  • Friendly, upbeat, and resilient
  • Organised and reliable
  • Comfortable using a computer and online systems
  • Able to work independently from home
  • Good at building rapport quickly

Previous experience in customer service, telesales, admin, or call centre work is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Need at Home

  • Reliable internet
  • Quiet space to make calls

We provide the systems, training, and support — you bring the voice and personality.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing New Zealand company, earn consistent income, and still be there for school pick-ups.

Apply now and tell us why you’d be great on the phone.

Benefits

Be part of a growing company

  • We’re expanding quickly, which creates real opportunities for progression, increased responsibility, and career development.

Supportive, down-to-earth team

  • No corporate politics. No egos. Just a friendly, hardworking environment where everyone works together.

Learn valuable digital skills

  • Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, client communication, and business growth strategies — skills that are in high demand.

Flexible, family-friendly hours

  • We understand life exists outside of work. Many roles offer structured hours that can suit school schedules and family commitments.

Make a real impact

  • Your work directly helps New Zealand businesses grow. You’ll see the results of what you do.

Client interaction & responsibility

  • Many roles involve working directly with clients, building relationships, and becoming a trusted point of contact.

Performance recognition

  • Strong performance, reliability, and initiative are recognised with growth opportunities and increased responsibility over time.
